IMPORTANT YAM INFO: Rescheduled for Mar. 9
I am sorry to have to inform you that we are rescheduling the YAM Celebration. Following consultation with teachers, weather reports, and the Indiana Statehouse the upcoming winter storm will make it unsafe for teachers and families to travel.
The YAM Celebration is now scheduled for the alternative date of Sunday March 9, 2014 with a timeline as follows:
10:15 am: AEAI board member arrive at the the Statehouse
10:30 am - 11:30 am: Teachers drop off student artwork at the Statehouse
2:00 pm: CELEBRATION BEGINS!
I would like to apologize for the rescheduling, especially for those of you who have already made travel accommodations or who will be participating in Scholastic Arts. Unfortunately, these were circumstance which were beyond our control and we were limited on dates the Statehouse was available for rescheduling.
Please inform all of your student artist and families of the changes in dates.
If you are not able to deliver your artwork on Sunday March 9, 2014 please contact your district rep (http://www.aeai.org/districts.html) or mail your artwork to:

Thank you for your flexibility and understanding,
Welcome to the YAM Indiana Website!
Welcome to the Indiana YAM website, established to link art educators across the great state of Indiana as we plan for, observe, and celebrate Youth Art Month.
This website provides information on how to get involved with art advocacy through Youth Art Month observances, and how to submit information regarding your YAM activities and events.
This web resource is meant to be ever-changing, under constant development. We are seeking input from art educators throughout the state. We hope that our fellow art teachers will participate by contacting us with suggestions, documenting advocacy efforts, asking questions, sharing ideas, and so on.
